OTTAWA INVITED 3,000 CANADIAN EXPERIENCE CLASS CANDIDATES UNDER EXPRESS ENTRY

On June 12, 2025, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) conducted a new Express Entry draw focused on Canadian Experience Class (CEC) candidates—individuals with skilled work experience in Canada.

In round #351, IRCC issued 3,000 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) for permanent residence. The cut-off score for this draw was 529 points, which is 18 points lower than the previous CEC-targeted draw. The tie-breaking rule was applied to candidates who submitted their profiles before September 28, 2024, at 18:06:46 UTC.

As of June 11, 2025, the Express Entry pool held 257,557 registered profiles, reflecting the ongoing demand for immigration to Canada. With this draw, the total number of ITAs issued in 2025 has risen to 38,342 across 21 rounds.

The Canadian Experience Class continues to be one of the most important pathways to permanent residence, especially for temporary residents who have already integrated into the Canadian labour market. These draws are particularly beneficial for individuals who have studied or worked in Canada and are now looking to make their stay permanent.
